Spun Cotton Easter Bunny Ornament

The end of February is here. We made it thru winter, though there is still mounds and mountains of snow here in New England. I am hopeful and thinking of Easter, flowers, birdsongs and warmer days. I can't resist the pretty pastels of Spring and was inspired to create this little bunny.

I had such fun fancying this little bunny. I love her frilly dress and petticoats-all things girly. She definitely looks ready for Easter morning.
She decided to hold a daffodil in her hand, heralding Spring's upcoming arrival in a few short weeks.

This little sweetie is waiting adoption and can be found here:

The day for pink and red, chocolates and roses is less than a week away. There are so many ways to show someone you care or admire them. This little darling kitty would make a most delightful gift for the cat lover in your life or a  just a little something special for a friend. She is wearing such a pretty little dress as she is all in pretty reds and pinks. Check out her pink carnation that she is carrying.

Spun Cotton Birthday Girl Ornament

Winter has generously dished out scoops and scoops of snow. Cold winds make it very unfriendly to venture outdoors for very long. It is perfect time to "play" in my box of crafting goodies to see what treasures I can create.

Purple and white tickled my fancy. It made me think of spring and celebrating special occasions. I  love this sweet little scrap face for this spun cotton ornament.  This combination was just perfect for this Victorian style little spun cotton doll. Look at her sweater. It is made of soft cotton batting.

She is up for adoption and would make a wonderful addition to any feather tree décor. It appears that she is ready to give a special birthday gift to someone. I wonder to whom it will go to?

I have a lovely lad up for adoption on my etsy shop. He is just perfect for Valentine's Day!
Isn't he just darling?!

Cotton Batting Spun Cotton Belsnickle Ornaments

Tis the season where there is a chill in the air, a happy hurry in one's step, sounds of Christmas carols and cocoa being enjoyed by the hearth. Mantles, and trees adorn homes large and  small. Whether big or small those precious trees are adorned with special baubles and ornaments that evoke special memories.

I have happily added two more charming Belsnickle/Father Christmas Ornaments to my Etsy shop. Both are charming in their own way.

Patriotic Spun Cotton Doll

Summer is finally here after a long and drawn out winter that seemed to be endless. Now the days are filled with sunshine and the evenings are filled with the magic of fireflies dancing in our fields.
I have celebrated summer's arrival by making a Patriotic Spun Cotton Doll which I named, Little Lady Liberty. She can be found on my Etsy shop. Isn't she just a festive dandy darling all dressed in Red, White and Blue?
